A simple Thank You!

X: Can you come to my class? This kid, N, is crying. I dunno why..
Me: Okie..

+This bunch of kids are rarely quiet. It's strange as I entered to find silence+

N: ...SOB...
Me: Come on out.. (N came out still sobbing) What happened? Are you alright?
N: sob..SOb..I've got lotsa homework...SOB...
Me: It's alright.. Dun cry.. You're excused from tuition today. (N widened his eyes... tears brimming) You come to my class. I'll help you out.

N isn't a pure Chinese. He's mixed. He has never really understood Chinese but has to take it as his second language. hah.. It's Chinese tuition that he's excused from. :D

When I was in secondary school, it was common for the teachers to give us holiday assignments (lotsa them in fact!!) Due to poor poor poor time management, I'd play away the entire holidays then.... On the second last day of holidays, start rushing my assignments. The first time it happened, I cried a whole lot before falling back to sleep. My brother, who was merely two years older than me, had a shock. He told mommy and mommy just said," Just sleep. Wake up early and finish up your work." I slept soundly, knowing I'm not alone :D

Me: Wow! That's the last page! Well done!
+After completing the last bit of his homework...+
N: Thank you Miss Quek..(softly)

Tears started brimming from my eyes. A simple thank you. I'm touched and really appreciated.

It's really belated huh?!

Since it's a new beginning, let me start with some new year resolutions!

+I wanna be a clown. Even if it's just for a day. I want the full works, make up, costume and balloons and a whole bunch of kids!! Hah!
+Lose weight lor... sianz..
+Learn cycling!! Now that I've mastered swimming. :D
+hmm... try out diving?
+Do well in my studies... I wanna be a psycho one day.

Hah!! These are just some.. I want SO MUCH MORE!!!
