Salted S1

I did something terrible.

Super evil.

I salted S1.

It foamed and shriveled.

It went into its shell and didn't come out for a long while.

Snails "melt" when you pour salt on them because the water in their
cells is leaving to balance the salt. This is an osmotic process which
occurs across semipermeable membranes like those surrounding the cells of
animals and plants.

I poured water into the container.

S1 floated... then slowly emerged.

I thought its body would float out and ... :(

Its tentacles emerged then shrunk back and EMERGED again!!

It's ALIVE!!!!!

Phew... now it's slime-ing around the container.

Osmosis is COOL.
